Course Overview

Objectives:

  1. Identify the possible causes/changes in our society leading to younger patients with colon cancer.
  2. Importance of gut microbiome and the effects of diet and lifestyle that can alter it, leading to cancer.
  3. Recall the signs and symptoms of colon cancer and it is different in younger patients.
  4. Advances in colorectal cancer treatment.
